We provide 1" thick 6061 aluminum vacuum plates with two deep bore holes fitted with 3/8" NPT fittings - one for evacuation and one for vacuum readings... These plates are designed to work with an appropriate sized Pyrex (borosilicate) bell jar or cylinder... fitted with a rubber "L" gasket.
