We supply custom and standard sizes borosilicate Pyrex sight glasses. Both normal and heavy walled sight glasses can be made clear or redlined.
If your application requires to withstand high pressure or vacuum, like in the case of boiler sight glasses, heavy wall glass tubes are recommended.
Such a sight glass withstands operating temperature of up to 450° F (230° C)
Both open ends of the sight glasses are ground square with a length tolerance of 0.010".
If your application requires tubular sight glass with pipe flanges those are also available

Extra Long Sight Glass and custom length sight glasses
We also manufacture extra long sight glass made from Pyrex (borosilicate glass). Redline is available on extra long sight glasses.
If you need custom sight glasses of a length, we can manufacture them for you according to your specifications. Redline is also available.
As an example, we make 10 foot sight glasses quite often.Our record to this day stands as 1 1/2" OD x 20 foot long sight glass.
Five of them were ordered and all 5 of them arrived in good condition at their destination.
Our shipping charges? For a 20 foot sight glass the nominal box charge is up to $100 and for 6 foot sight glasses the box charge is only $20.
The box will normally hold multiple sight glasses.
